Here is SHOW #72: RACE RELATIONS: UNDERSTANDING the IMPACT on YOUR CAREER and LIFE. In this show, I discuss the importance of the concept - Race Relations -- and why it is so important and impactful to today's college students and young professionals. Unfortunately, during the past few years because of COVID-19, many of my college students had to isolate themselves from other students yet this has significantly caused them to NOT RELATE well to other students who do not look like them or have a different history or lifestyle than them. That's why it is critically important for today's college student (after post Covid) to make an EXTRA EFFORT in engaging, interacting, and immersing oneself in another person's culture so he/she can develop the necessary skills in developing POSITIVE race relations now in college BEFORE he/she graduates and live in the REAL WORLD! In this show, I also share my own personal experiences when I was in college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio during the late 1970s in which I learned how to get along with other students who were completely different than me.
